Let’s be honest, who doesn’t dream of ditching the desk job life for a world overflowing with throw pillows and paint swatches?
So, back in the crazy year of 2020 (pandemic pivots, anyone?), I took a leap and dove headfirst into the world of interior design. Armed with a million Pinterest boards, a shoestring budget, and a whole lot of determination, I enrolled in an online course and started redecorating my duplex apartment.
Let me tell you, it was a lot of fun. From mood boarding to discovering the joy (and occasional struggle) of DIY projects (RIP that old bureau), I fell head over heels for the entire design process.
Glossy Loft
Knowing I craved a creative outlet and a way to share my love for all things home decor, I turned to my other obsession – social media.
Scrolling through endless feeds of gorgeous interiors, paint color inspo, and genius upcycling hacks, I had a lightbulb moment: why not create a space where I could share my own design passion? And that’s how the Glossy Loft was born!
Fast forward to today, and I’m living proof that following your dreams (even if it takes a few DIY disasters and late-night YouTube tutorials) can totally pay off! Now, I get to create, write, and obsess over home decor all day long – basically, my dream job.
